The Dallas Cowboys are in the midst of one of their most embarrassing season in years, and it looks only to get worse after Dak Prescott was reported to get season-ending surgery. However, Mike McCarthy does whatever he can to hold the pieces together.
One of the Cowboys’ worst areas has been the rushing game. Currently, they rank second to last in rushing yards (753) and tied for last in touchdowns (3).
Throughout the season, McCarthy has chosen to try to give running backs Rico Dowdle and Ezekiel Elliott a similar amount of carries, but that seems to be over based on the head coach’s comments at today’s press conference.
