BREAKING NEWS: Tragic Accident Unfolds.

A devastating accident in Manitoba, Canada, claimed the lives of at least 15 people on Thursday. A bus transporting elderly passengers collided with a truck at an intersection near Carberry, approximately 170 kilometers west of Winnipeg.

The group on the bus was traveling to a casino in Carberry. According to Deputy Police Officer Rob Hill of the Royal Canadian Mounted Police in Manitoba, “at least 15 individuals were pronounced dead as a result of the collision.”

Ten others are currently receiving hospital treatment. Both drivers survived, though authorities have not yet confirmed responsibility for the crash. Images from the site reveal wreckage, including destroyed wheelchair seats and walking frames scattered near tarps covering the victims.

Prime Minister Justin Trudeau shared his condolences, expressing support for the injured and grieving families. Manitoba Premier Heather Stefanson also conveyed her sympathies.

This tragedy ranks among Canada’s most severe accidents in recent years. A similar incident in Saskatchewan in 2018 resulted in 16 fatalities. Such events serve as stark reminders of the critical need for caution and accountability on the roads to avoid further heartbreak.
